John-David Roddy is a founder and principal of Blue Ridge Development, LLC, and serves as the company’s Chief Manager. Since founding Blue Ridge Development in November 1996, John-David has been involved in the development of office, retail, residential, and industrial projects totaling over $103.2 million.

Prior to founding Blue Ridge Development, John-David worked with Igawaga, Inc. where he created and implemented the firm’s investment-tracking system. After receiving his Affiliate Broker’s license, John-David joined Eakin and Smith, Inc. where he was primarily involved in the sale, leasing, and development of commercial real estate.

Actively involved in community affairs, John-David serves on the Board of Directors of the Emerald Youth Foundation, Boy Scouts of America Great Smoky Mountain Council, YMCA, and Helen Ross McNabb Foundation. He is a member of Nucleus of Knoxville and an associate member of Urban Land Institute. John-David is also a VIP member of the Blount County Chamber of Commerce.
